Dr. Trettin is Board Certified with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Oberlin College. At the University of Pittsburgh, she received her Masters in Bioethics from the Center for Bioethics and Health Law and her Medical Degree, with a focus on women's health, from the School of Medicine. Dr. Trettin completed her Psychiatric Internship at the University of Pennsylvania. During her Psychiatric Residency at Allegheny General Hospital, she did additional training in individual, group, and couples therapy and received the Excellence in Psychotherapy Award. She is also a certified yoga instructor and has an extensive background in mental health teaching, volunteer work, and research. Her experiences add to her unique ability to integrate mind-body wellness and offer combined psychotherapy and psychopharmacology for women.
